Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 7, 2026
Precision Strides ("Precision Strides," "we," "us") operates an equestrian simulator training facility in Wellington, Florida and the rider portal at portal.precisionstrides.com (the "Portal"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our marketing site at www.precisionstrides.com is hosted separately; this policy covers it too, but the Portal is where nearly all of the data below is collected.
Information we collect
Account information. The Portal is invite-only: our staff creates your account, so we collect your name and email address (and, if you or we add it, your cell phone number) in order to invite you. If you set a password, we store it in hashed form only.
Sign-in information. You can sign in with a password, a one-time code sent by text message, or through Google, Apple, or Facebook. If you use Google, Apple, or Facebook, that provider shares your name and email address with us so we can match you to your account; we never receive your password for those services, and your use of them is governed by their own privacy policies. If you sign in by text message, we use your phone number solely to send the one-time code.
Riding session data. When you ride the simulator, it records telemetry about the ride — seat pressure distribution, rein contact and force, leg-aid activity, gait, rhythm, and session duration. We store the raw capture files and the scores and metrics computed from them, along with session details such as date and discipline, so you and your trainer can review your riding and track progress over time.
Trainer content. Trainers may write session recaps, goals, and training notes about your sessions.
Communications. We send service emails (invitations, session recaps, password resets) and keep delivery records. If a phone number is on file, we send text messages only for sign-in codes and phone-number verification.
Technical information. The Portal uses essential cookies to keep you signed in — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We collect aggregate, privacy-respecting usage analytics (page views and performance) that are not used to profile individuals, and we keep standard server and security logs, including an audit log of staff actions.
How we use information
We use this information to operate the Portal: to show you your riding data and progress, to let your trainer review sessions and write recaps, to send the service emails and sign-in texts described above, to keep the Portal secure, and to comply with law. We may also use de-identified, aggregated riding data (data that no longer identifies you) to improve our metrics, benchmarks, and training programs.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in information are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We share information only with:
- Service providers that host and run the Portal on our behalf and may process data only for that purpose: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (application hosting and aggregate analytics), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text message delivery). Google, Apple, or Facebook are involved only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Your trainer and our staff, who can see your riding data and account details in order to coach you and run the facility.
- Legal and safety recipients, if required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of the service.
- A successor business, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — your information remains subject to this policy.
Text messaging
Text messages are used only for sign-in codes and phone verification — we do not send marketing texts. Message frequency depends on how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. You can remove your phone number from your account at any time on the Account page or by contacting us.
Data retention
We keep your account and riding data for as long as your account is active, so your training history remains available to you and your trainer. If your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, security, or backup purposes (backup copies are purged on a rolling schedule).
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access controls with row-level database security so riders can only see their own data, invite-only registration, and audit logging of staff actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you.
Your choices and rights
You may access and update your account details on the Account page, and you may contact us to request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and associated data. If you signed in with Google, Apple, or Facebook and prefer not to, contact us and we can switch your account to a different sign-in method. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Children
Riders under 18 may use the Portal only when their account is arranged by a parent or legal guardian through our facility. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13 without verifiable parental consent obtained as part of enrollment. Parents and guardians may review their child's information, request changes, or request deletion by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email or through the Portal before the changes take effect.
